ACCESS
- How to get here
Thassos is accessible only by ferry boat and has two ports, Skala Prinos and Limenas (Thassos Town), served respectively by Kavala and Keramoti.
The quickest route is from Keramoti to Limenas (Thassos Town), with a travel duration of just 35 minutes and frequent routes every half hour during the summer. This is the preferred route for many visitors to Thassos. The second option is the route from Kavala port to Skala Prinos.
In both options, you will turn right onto the peripheral road and follow the signs to Prinos. From there, follow the same route to Potos. Astris is 5 kilometers after Potos.
By Air
Thassos does not have its own airport but benefits from the nearby Kavala Airport (Megas Alexandros). From the airport to the port of Keramoti is a short trip by taxi or car.
